Context
before
camera.
A voice-first Android accessibility assistant for blind and low-vision people, currently in internal testing. Frank combines conversation, on-demand vision and persistent memory on the phone itself. Connected cameras, audio devices or wearables can extend the experience if a user prefers them; none is required. iOS is planned.
A real test, not applause: Frank recognised a bottle and remembered a global-warming conversation. It also exposed stale visual context, latency and silence-detection problems. Those findings changed the product.
